Which racket should I choose?
In 2001, Carolina Marín was introduced to badminton by her best friend, after which she fell in love with the sport. This led to her international debut at the Brussels International U15 in 2005. Two years later, she became part of the Spanish national team.
In 2009, she won her first international title at the European U-17 Junior Championships. The same year, she also won her first major title at the Irish International. Two years later, she won gold at the European Junior Championships.
In 2013, she won her first Grand Prix Gold title at the London Grand Prix Gold. The same year, she also won her first European Championship title. The following year, she won her first World Championship title.
2015 was the year she won five Super Series titles, her second World Championship, and claimed the top spot on the world rankings. The following year, she won Olympic gold in Rio.
In 2018, she won her fourth European Championships and third World Championships title. The following year, she suffered a knee injury. Later in the year, she returned after an 8-month break, after which she won the China Open.
In 2021, she won the Thailand Open Super 100, Toyota Thailand Open, European Championships, and her first World Tour Finals title.
